Prayer and Fasting III

This Monday--July 10--will be another day of fasting and prayer. Until we get to the other side, we just won't know the real magnitude of the effect prayer is having on our ministry. However, I'd be willing to bet a whole bunch of stuff that anything of eternal value that results from our efforts will be because of the earnest prayers of many. And then let's not overlook the "less spiritual" aspects too. I shudder to think of how Tuesday might have gone with all its mishaps had we gone in without all our own prayers and those of others too. So let's keep praying and add our prayers to the "golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." (Revelation 5:8, also 8:3 and 8:4). Now that we've got the kids, the battles for their souls will become even fiercer. The battles begin on our knees...
